I know it's a little late, but, Happy New Year. I hope you all had a good new years celebration. As I mentioned I was visiting my sister in Utah for a week, and it was great! I was able to spend lots of time holding and playing with my 7 month old niece and nephew, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Here are a few highlights of my trip:
- We went ice skating!
- I went to my first Hibachi grill (pretty cool!) and I actually ate some sushi..and liked it.. You should know that I am NOT a fish/seafood fan at all. But I'm slowly trying new things. Baby steps!
- We went to an Improv Show, (another first) that was hilarious!
We were hoping it would snow when we were there. Of course it didn't snow at all, but the day after we left it started snowing! My sister thought it was a sign that we needed to come back ;).
I started school a few weeks ago. Another tough semester coming up. Wish me luck!
Super Bowl is this weekend. Who are you rooting for?? I don't follow football enough to even have a team...but since my brother-in-law is a HUGE Bronco's fan, I guess that makes me one by association, right? Maybe not, but I will be rooting for them. Don't forget to check out my tutorial for Super Bowl Cupcakes!
Also coming up....VALENTINE'S DAY! Some of us love it, some of us hate it. I'm a lover, have you know :). Do you have plans yet? My sweetie and I are going to Capitola for Valentine's. It's been our tradition the past 2 Valentine's Days, and this year will be our 3rd! We absolutely love it there. Do you have any Valentine's traditions? I'd love to hear them!
