Summer Reading List
There's no denying that the dog days of summer are here. It's over 100°F every day, your AC is out of whack, and you just can't keep enough ice cream in the freezer.
Let's help take our minds off of things and do some reading.
I bring you the Summer Reading List of 2015. There's thought-provoking, trashy, nerdy, and heart-felt.
Whatever you're in the mood for, I've got you covered!
This book of 9 stories set across the globe highlights the lives and emotional stories of Philippine emigrants.
What Lena Dunham has learned. Everyone's probably read this already, but I'm so behind. I binge-watched GIRLS and know I will love this.
A woman living in NY goes a year eating only whole, unprocessed foods. I admire that! Hopefully I can learn some tips and better habits from this one.
Brutally honest, funny, and a little dark. Sounds about right.
The chemical processes and reactions of booze. Heck yeah!
A man stranded on Mars with a limited supply of food and water, but 4 years to make it last. I can't wait to read this one.
Competition, exploitation, and altruism all exist in nature. Let's learn some more!
RED RUM! We've all seen this movie, right? I need to read the book.
I started watching this show, but I hear the book is better. It always is, isn't it?
I've seen this recommended by many. Suspenseful, thrilling, and a little sad. Plus I like the cover art.
A story about a family "curse" where the daughters take a talent away from the mother when they're born.
Friendship and second chances. Every reading list needs at least one heart-wrencher.
I don't expect to read all these books on my list by the end of the summer, but I'm going to start! Have you read any of these books yet?
What are you reading this summer?
